2D assessment

The two-dimensional (2D) assessment is a test to determine the degree of correspondence of an object to its design, on the basis of pre-established criteria of suitability.

In industry, this validation process is often considered standard procedure and / or a waiver that authorises the production and supply of a specific product; CMP thereby meets this demand by providing its clients with the acquired dimensional ratios via bespoke reports.

The testing takes place in compliance with the technical documentation available and all applicable and agreed specifications, using the most suitable equipment or measuring instrument.

The testing will then produce a dimensions report that contains the measured values compared to the nominal values indicated in the 2D drawing.
